1. festive
adj. 喜庆的;欢乐的;充满节日气氛的
e.g. Chinese New Year is approaching! The town has a festive holiday atmosphere.
其他搭配：festive mood / spirit 节日的欢乐氛围
e.g. I used to love Chinese New Year, but I’m just not really feeling it. ’m struggling to get in the festive spirit.
就是我们常常说的感觉年味越来越淡。/(ㄒoㄒ)/~~
2. gala /'gɑ?l?/
n．a special public occasion at which there is a lot of entertainment, usually in the form of different types of performances. 庆典；演出；
e.g. Spring Festival Gala/New Year Gala 春晚。
以下是对春晚的解释：
This televised variety show is broadcasted by China Central Television (CCTV). Also known as the Spring Festival Gala or Chunwan (春晚 / Chūnwǎn), it is one of the premier TV events in China.
注：variety show 综艺；杂耍表演

3. reunion /ri?'ju?nj?n/
n．重聚;重逢;团圆；
e.g. Family reunion dinner 团圆饭。
e.g. She had a tearful reunion with her parents at the airport.
注：tearful 含着泪的
如：tearful parting/ goodbye 挥泪分别
e.g. There is even a large group camping area perfect for retreats and family reunion events.
注：retreat 静修之旅
也可以指：幽静之地；隐居处
如：This place is my healing retreat where I can just run away from my daily worries.
4. staycation /ste??ke?.??n/
staycation 是由stay和vacation所組合而成，指的是a holiday that someone spends in their own country or at home, rather than travelling somewhere else. 在家度假或者只是在周边转转的旅行。
比如说：My bed is perfect for a staycation. (主要还是穷)
e.g. The great British staycation is back in fashion with more British holidaymakers choosing not to jet off to the sun but to stay at home instead.
注：be back in fashion 重新流行。
